III: Dragon Sighting

Recently, I was on a short sojourn in a foreign town when I happened to catch sight of this beast from the window of my transport. As you can see, he had a very fierce appearance and looked like he was considering attack.

I had serious doubts that the enclosure could hold him, since the fence was not very high and definitely short enough for him to fly over. Thankfully, he seemed more intent on guarding the garden he was standing in than attacking my transport.

At last, the crowds cleared enough that my transport could keep moving, and the dragon faded into the distance. I couldn’t help glancing back at him, marveling at the creature and wondering what was so special about his garden.

If I see him again, perhaps I’ll ask.
